Former QB lions pursuing the NFL return after the suspension of HS training

The former quarter of the Detroit lions, Teddy Bridgewater, would seek to return from the NFL.

Bridgewater, 32, came out of his retirement and was re-signed with the Lions last December, becoming Jared Goff’s quarter aid for the last section of the season.

Bridgewater was only called upon at the end of the year to launch a pass in the defeat of the Detroit divisional round to Washington commanders and putting a game of things that led to a touch of 61 yards to Jameson Williams.

However, it seemed that Bridgewater had to return to the coach of the secondary school Miami Northwestern, his Alma Mater, which he brought to a class 3A championship in his first season.

This prospect took a hit in July when Bridgewater was suspended for granting unacceptable advantages to players.

He publicly declared in an article on Facebook of July 7 that he covered rides, meals and Uber recovery services the previous season.

Bridgewater confirmed that he had self -disclared payments in high school.

“The suspension came from MNW, and it is impossible to suspend someone who does not work for you,” said Bridgewater on Facebook. “So, if I’m suspended from MNW, I’m free to go to another school of my choice but I’m not going anywhere.

“And if that comes back, I will volunteer the stands as I did in 2018 and 2019 when no one had a problem.”

Bridgewater would have informed the players and parents of Miami Northwestern on Monday afternoon that he would return to the NFL.

The 32nd overall choice of the 2014 NFL draft, Bridgewater played 79 games in the NFL out of 10 seasons and launched for more than 15,000 yards and 75 affected in his career.
